School Infrastructure

School is the second home to its students. It must cater to all the learning needs of the students. From the size of the rooms to their lighting condition and ventilation, the colour of the walls to the well decorated bulletin boards, every single inch of the school, every nook and corner needs to be intelligently structured. Ours smart classrooms are airy, spacious, well lighted and air-conditioned, furnished with appropriate bench sizes.  Our library is a treasure trove of knowledge. It houses story books, novels, encyclopaedias and various magazines to suit the varied interests of the students. We have a well-equipped computer lab which allows students to be tech savvy and move ahead with technology. Well-equipped labs enable them to perform lab activities more effectively. Our Activity room allows children to perform various activities and gain hand on experiences. They have plenty of mind-games to provide enriched experience. Our assembly area witnesses many events, workshops and festival celebration. Soft soothing colours boost students’ energies and encourage them to concentrate well on their projects. The elevator is an added asset to the school’s infrastructure. Our school is also equipped with fire safety equipment. Wide corridors and staircase allow students to move safely from one part of the school to other.

Computer Lab

Students, faculty, and staff have access to the computer labs, which provide the tools and technologies to edit papers, complete class assignments, communicate via email, conduct data analyses, and access library resources. Microsoft Windows software is available for word processing, statistics, spreadsheets, and database management.

School Library

Adarsh Public School has always laid great emphasis on inculcating the habit of reading in its students, right from the beginning. The School Library is well-stocked with lots of books on all subjects ranging from dinosaurs to the Famous Five and the Math puzzles to Science Experiments. Students can get one book issued at a time, for a maximum period of 7 days. Teachers take great pleasure and pride in helping the children to choose the right books for themselves. For the children’s benefit, the Library also subscribes to children’s magazines such as Champak, Tinkle, Science Refresher etc.

Therefore, the Library helps to feed the eager minds of the young students, by giving them the right medium for knowledge and awareness, in the form of exciting and informative books and magazines.

Our Classrooms

Each classroom is a mini learning centre. It has big windows which allow the room to have plenty of natural light during the working hours. It has a wide bulletin board that teachers and students use collaboratively to display items that facilitate learning. All classrooms are air-conditioned and well-equipped with smart boards, well-sized comfortable desks, teacher’s table and chair, cupboard for storing students’ supplies, assignments, books, notebooks and whatnot. Spacious classrooms allow multiple seating arrangements to break the monotony and create ambience for story telling sessions, mini group discussions, team work etc.

Our Activity Room

The activity room is a leisure room for our kids. They relish their time spent here by playing indoor games and exploring educational learning aids. This helps them to rejuvenate and think out of the box. Here they share and care while developing problem-solving skills, analytical views about life and the world.

Our Dance Room

Dance is the hidden language of the soul. Dancing is much more than just grooving on the dance floor. Not only does it relax your senses and trains your brain, but it has many other hidden advantages too. It helps you stay physically and mentally fit, boost your self-esteem, makes you celebrate life. The Dance Room at Adarsh attracts and invites young souls to discover their inner passion, get up from their seats and dance joyfully. It is air-conditioned and has wall to wall mirrors in which students see themselves dance and feel happy.

Adarsh Playground

We believe in creating an environment where children can experience both structured and unstructured play to support their physical health and increase their chances to succeed in the classroom. We have a designated ground adjacent to the school building where students get to enjoy open space outside the four walls of the school. As children play, they are learning persistence, patience, how to deal with frustration, how to win and lose gracefully, practice empathy and express their thoughts and ideas. They get ample opportunities to improve their body stamina, increase muscle strength, agility, balance and even ability to strategize.
